Caregiver Readiness Framework Overview

The foundation of everything we offer is the Kapwa Caregiver Readiness Framework —
a 6-stage framework helps you understand your emotional and structural readiness.
It focuses not on what you do, but on how equipped you feel.
This framework is a new way to see where you are, and what kind of support will make a difference.
It helps you identify where you are on your caregiver readiness journey
(Stages 1-5–and even Stage 0 if you’re questioning or unsure).

The GPS only works when you know not only where you want to go,
but where you’re starting from.

It’s not about how much you’re doing. It’s about how grounded, connected, and equipped you feel.

We strengthen caregiving capacity across three key dimensions:

SELF READINESS
  • Identity Integration

  • Emotional Regulation & Capacity

  • Boundaries + Needs Awareness

RELATIONAL READINESS
  • Communication & Care Dynamics

  • Support Utilization + Delegation

  • Clarity of Roles & Responsibilities

Structural Readiness
  • Systems Navigation Confidence

  • Decision-Making in Uncertainty

  • Mastery of the Caregiving Task Pyramid

Wherever you find yourself in these stages, you're not doing it wrong — you're just doing it without enough clarity.
That’s why we created a reflection guide to help you name where you are and begin to move forward with clarity and intention.

Community As a Layer of Support

You shouldn’t have to figure this out alone.
Kapwa means shared humanity — and we believe care gets lighter when it’s witnessed. Whether you want to build community or rest inside one, there’s a space here for you.
That’s why we offer two ways to connect, because support doesn’t always look the same:

Our Free Facebook Community

A gentle public space to explore stories, ask questions, and build solidarity with others navigating similar caregiving paths.

It’s a place to remind yourself: you are not alone. We’re building this together.

Our Private Member Community

A quiet, intentional space included in all paid memberships.
Designed for caregivers ready to reflect, recalibrate, and receive steadier support — without pressure or judgment.
Includes reflection prompts, guided discussions rooted in our frameworks, gentle accountability support, and optional community events
